The largest property tax contributors range from well know companies like Bryan Health, which owns two of the city's hospitals, to lesser known real estate companies.
The estimates property tax assessment figures were provided by the County Assessor's Office. Taxes paid are based on levies for 2024-25.
1. B & J Partnership
B & J Partnership manages properties in the Telegraph District as Speedway Properties. The partnership has a total assessed property valuation of $215,403,500. That amounts to a property tax bill of about $3.80 million.
2. Allo Communications
Allo Communications' property has an assessed value of $172,595,834, making for a property tax bill of about $3.05 million.
3. BNSF Railway Co.
BNSF Railway Co. has property with a value assessed at $165,120,538. That amounts to a tax bill of about $2.87 million.
4. NEBCO
NEBCO owns the building at 245 Fallbrook Blvd. in Lincoln, which houses several state departments. The construction and real estate company has an assessed property valuation of $162,130,538, amounting to a property tax bill of about $2.87 million.
5. Windstream Nebraska Inc.
