Friends, family, and community members join together for a prayer over Dale Miksch, 70 (first left) before taking one last ride with him and starting off down the trailhead near the Good Life Fitness off of Van Dorn St. on May 3, Miksch later passed away on October 1, 2025. Miksch, was diagnosed with ALS in February of 2021. He has been an avid biker and part of the Great Plains Bicycling club. As he began to notice a further decline in his health, one of his final wishes before passing was to have one last bicycle ride. After conveying his wishes to the staff at Grace Space, they organized a ride and members of the community came out to support and commemorate Miksch's request.
