A Nebraska concert series that was scheduled to begin Saturday has been canceled after one of the musicians set to perform says he was detained at the Detroit airport while trying to enter the country from the Czech Republic.Â
The concert series was set to feature , a Czech clarinet player.Â
The performances, hosted by the , were planned in Wilber, Omaha, Lincoln and Fremont.Â
The first show was scheduled for Saturday in Wilber, which is known for its Czech-American population and by President Ronald Reagan.Â

In a to the International Clarinet Association, Å kuta said the Customs and Border Protection office detained him. His phone and devices were confiscated, and he claims he was met with rude interrogation and was threatened with jail time.
Ultimately, Å kuta was sent back to Prague.
"The immigration office didn't believe me and they were ready to be done with me from the start," Å kuta said. "It was devastating experience, but I hope I could come to the US in the future when the country administration changes."
